Meet Our Team
Melody Ulrich, DVM
Laura R. Pharr, DVM
Gayle is a very valued member of our veterinary hospital team. She has been working for the clinic for many years. Gayle has lived in Del Rio for a number of years, as well. She is very good with woodwork and has made some amazing pieces. Gayle has a heart for Jack Russell Terriers. She has cared for and raised many Jack Russell Terriers even before starting work at the clinic with first Dr. Martin and now Dr. Pharr. Many of her "grand dogs" still come to the clinic to see us here and there for check-ups.
Bailey Burgi is our newest veterinary technician. She has fit in quite well with our technician team. She was a part of the 4H community here in Del Rio for 6 years and is now volunteering to help the current students. Bailey loves all animals but favors her chinchilla and horses the most. She recently graduated with her Associate's degree and plans to continue with her education.
Brandi Farneth is one of our technicians that you will also see up front in the receptionist chair. She started as a receptionist and was able to start helping in the technician role, as well. She is originally from Florida, where she received her Associate's Degree in Zoo Animal Technology and her Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from the University of Florida. Brandi has always had a love for animals. She has previously worked with parrots, reptiles, primates, and a variety of other zoo animals. Brandi joined the VVVH team in April of 2017. She is working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Assistant.
Ken Lucio (Recently "retired," which means he is cutting back and will no longer be working at the clinic. We hope he will return. For now, we will not have grooming services available.)
